Park Loyalty Achieves SOC 2® Type II Compliance

Strengthening Security, Trust, and Reliability Across Our Partners’ Parking Enforcement and Mobility Operations.

Park Loyalty has achieved SOC 2® Type II compliance, confirmed through an external, third-party assessment of how our security controls operate over time. This milestone reinforces our commitment to delivering a secure, reliable platform for parking enforcement, permitting, payments, and mobility-related operations.

As parking systems become more connected and data-driven, municipalities, operators, and our other partners need confidence that the technology supporting their operations is built with security and accountability at its core. SOC 2 Type II compliance provides independent validation that Park Loyalty meets rigorous standards for protecting sensitive data across real-world parking environments.

What SOC 2 Type II Means

SOC 2 (System and Organization Controls) is an industry-recognized framework developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) to evaluate how organizations safeguard customer data.

SOC 2 Type II is the more comprehensive level of assessment, evaluating not only the design of internal controls but also their operating effectiveness over a defined period of time. This distinction is critical, as it demonstrates that security controls are not only in place, but consistently functioning as intended.

Park Loyalty’s SOC 2 Type II assessment covered key trust principles, including:

  • Security: Protection against unauthorized access and threats
  • Availability: Reliable system performance and uptime
  • Processing Integrity: Accurate and consistent system operations
  • Confidentiality: Safeguards for sensitive and proprietary data
  • Privacy: Responsible handling of personal information

Why This Matters for Parking Enforcement and Mobility Operations

Parking enforcement and mobility ecosystems rely on real-time data, accurate system behavior, secure transactions, and dependable integrations across multiple vendors and platforms. SOC 2 Type II compliance provides assurance that these workflows are supported by controls that are consistently applied and independently validated.

For our customers and partners, this means:

  • Stronger protection for customer data, enforcement activity, and integrated systems
  • Greater confidence in how sensitive parking, vehicle, and transaction data is handled
  • Verified reliability across core platform operations and third-party integrations
  • Reduced risk across complex, multi-system parking environments

For municipalities, operators, and our technology partners, the completion of the SOC 2 examination represents more than a security milestone, it supports long-term confidence and operational continuity.

A Technology-First Approach to Parking Security

Park Loyalty is a technology-first parking company. From the beginning, we have focused on building a platform that is secure, reliable, and designed to scale as parking enforcement and mobility needs evolve.

Security is not layered on after the fact or driven solely by compliance requirements. It is embedded directly into how our platform is designed, developed, and operated. This foundation supports long-term product quality, fewer disruptions, and systems our customers can trust as their operations grow and change.

Recognizing the Team Behind the Milestone

Achieving SOC 2 Type II compliance required focused effort across the organization, with special recognition to our security team, who led this initiative and carried it through to completion.

We are also grateful to our partners at Scrut for their support in helping strengthen and validate the foundation behind our software.

Our Commitment Moving Forward

SOC 2 Type II compliance is not a one-time achievement. It reflects an ongoing responsibility to maintain strong controls, continuously monitor our environment, and uphold the trust our customers place in us.

As Park Loyalty continues to grow and expand its enforcement and mobility capabilities, we remain committed to delivering secure, reliable technology that agencies and operators can depend on with confidence.
